Identifying Synergies DuraMAT Workshop

The Durable Module Materials Consortium (DuraMAT) held its first workshop on October 10-11, 2016, at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

The workshop, named Identifying Synergies, included oral presentations, poster sessions, and discussion times. The goals of the workshop were:

  1. To bring together a set of capabilities that exist within the national labs, academic institutions, and industry that can contribute to new solutions to the reliability and cost challenges identified above
  2. To review the potential opportunities for impact with industrial partners, including PV manufacturers, module assemblers, and associated supply-chain companies.

This was the first of regular annual meetings planned during the five-year DuraMAT program, and it overviewed the Energy Materials Networks and the program objectives.
